Erick from WA Asked Please note that experiences, policies, pricing and other offerings are subject to change and may have changed since the date of this answer.

I got tickets and reservations for next month. (2 days 4 people)I want to change dates! I understand and know how to change the reservation date but i see on the aggrement that the ticket date and reservation have to match. How do i change the ticket date?

Hiya Erick! Welcome to planDisney. We are so happy to have you here! Sounds like your Disneyland Resort vacation is just a few weeks away! Let's get your pixie-dusted logistics in a row so that you can spend your time daydreaming about those park days, asking yourself if churros for breakfast are a good idea (tip: they are ALWAYS a good idea!), and deciding which nighttime spectaculars are on your must-see list!

I have some great news for you! Your theme park reservation is attached to your theme park ticket, so your ticket will automatically update when you cancel and make a new reservation! After you cancel your original reservations and head back into the system to make the new ones, you will see that the first step is to select your party. Only active theme park tickets will be available for selection, and the new reservation will be attached to the tickets you choose in this step. I always like to take a peek at the theme park reservation availability ahead of canceling any existing plans. Summertime is upon us and reservations are subject to availability. If for some reason you do not see openings on your new dates, keep checking. Guests just like you and I are always changing their plans and the calendar updates live to these modifications. Reservations can (and often do!) open up!

Don't forget that if you've tapped into the phenomenal cosmic power of the one and only Genie and added Genie+ to your tickets, you will not only be zipping through Lightning Lanes, but you will also get access to unlimited digital downloads of ALL the Disney PhotoPass photos taken that day. While photographers are easy to spot and can be found throughout the parks, you can also find them within the Disneyland Mobile App ahead of time if you want to add this to your plans for the day. When you open up the app, head to the pinpoint icon on the bottom navigation bar. From the drop-down menu at the top of the next screen, select PhotoPass, and your map will magically light up with all the locations. I love using this little planning tool if I want to stake out some off-the-beaten-path spots. I love a Sleeping Beauty Castle photo, it's iconic, but what about the Cloud Wall in Disney California Adventure Park? This is definitely one of my favorite perks of Genie+ because it encourages us to hop in front of those Disney PhotoPass photographers and capture the moment! I always come home and scroll through all the fun photos we took. I like to pick a few to print and hang around the house so that I can be transported back to that magical moment every time I catch a glimpse!

Erick, magic awaits! Sending you off with some extra pixie dust. If you have any more questions, we are always here for you at planDisney!

    Never stop dreaming,
    Tara
