Hi Dave! Welcome to planDisney!
I'm so sorry to hear that one of the people in your group cannot travel with you, especially because of the loss of a loved one. While not the best of circumstances, I am happy to direct you on how to get the
Walt Disney World theme park ticket transferred to another person for your visit tomorrow!
To transfer the ticket, you will want to make sure the
My Disney Experience accounts of the two people making the transfer are linked. The person that currently has the theme park ticket will need to send an invitation to connect to the person taking the ticket. To do this, choose "My Family & Friends" from the My Disney Experience drop-down menu on the main Walt Disney World website (you can also do this on the
My Disney Experience mobile app). Scroll down to the bottom of that page and you'll find the "Add a Guest" option. Once you have entered the new Guest's information and chosen to send an invite to connect, you can enter the email address of the new Guest. After the email is received and the invitation is accepted, they'll be connected.
Once connected, you can go to "My Plans" in the My Disney Experience drop-down menu and look for "Daily Itinerary." Next to that is the link to view all your tickets. Once you click that link and see your ticket, you can "Reassign Ticket" to the new connection.
While tickets can be reassigned,
Disney Park Pass reservations cannot. You will need to make a new Disney Park Pass reservation with the new ticket holder. Currently, I see availability for
Magic Kingdom Park for October 16, 2021, but you will want to double-check it is available for you by viewing the
Theme Park Reservation Availability calendar.
I hope this helps and that you get everything straightened out, Dave! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
