Welcome to planDisney and thank you for your question! Your vacation is so close, has the countdown started yet?
Glad to hear that you have your tickets including
Disney Genie+ Service and that you created your
Disney Park Pass reservations. Since you already have Genie+ attached to your park tickets, it’s not essential for you to go into “My Disney Genie Day” within the
My Disney Experience mobile app until the day you’re using the Service. If you’re wanting to confirm you have Disney Genie+, simply go to the “Tickets and Passes” section of the app and review your party’s tickets. You can also double check in your confirmation email!
At 7:00 a.m. on the day you’re going to
Animal Kingdom, you’ll go into the “My Disney Genie Day” section to select your first Genie+
Lightning Lane and use that area the rest of the day. Again, since you’ve already purchased the Service, that area really matters the day of your park visit!
Before your trip, I suggest signing out of the My Disney Experience mobile app, making sure the app is updated on your phone, then signing back in. Some times our devices need a quick refresh! This way your app will be ready to go for your trip (and hopefully this step resolves the calendar issue)!
