Hello Forrest!
Welcome to planDisney with an excellent planning question. I love visiting the Walt Disney World Resort with my extended family and friends. It’s the perfect place to reunite and make memories that will last forever. Your magical vacation is just around the corner, so I am going to assume that you already have accommodations at a Disney Resorts Collection hotel or off-site location. I would be happy to help you in finalizing your family’s plans.
First, you will need to invite any adults you want to share plans with to your “
My Family & Friends List” in
My Disney Experience. You can add a Guest to your list by scrolling down until your see “+ Add a Guest.” If the person you want to share plans with is not in your connected Guests, you will need to select the “I’ll enter their name and age” button. Compete in the required fields, paying close attention to spelling all names correctly. Select the “Share Planning with this Guest” button and enter the email address associated with their My Disney Experience account. Be sure that you have selected to share your Family & Friends list with those you are connecting with. They will receive an email inviting them to connect to you. When they accept you will be connected and can share plans with everyone on their list that is over 18. Minors will still need to be managed by their parents or the person who set up their My Disney Experience account. You can also share your Disney PhotoPass photos to your Memory Maker account, if purchased, too!
Once everyone accepts your invitation and chooses to share all their plans with you, the group planning effort can begin. You can make
Theme Park Reservations for your entire travel party that has a valid theme park admission ticket associated with their account. Reservations can be made online or using the My Disney Experience mobile app, in
My Plans. Select the members from your My Friends & Family list you are making the reservation for. Choose the park and the date you are planning to visit. Review and confirm your plans for that date. Repeat as necessary for the remainder of the dates in your trip. Keep in mind that park availability is limited, so the sooner you make your reservations the better.
I hope that answers your question. If you have any more questions, please come back and visit us again here at planDisney.
See ya real soon,
Andrea
