I have tickets and reservations for Disneyland but I want to eat dinner at Cathay Circle in DCA, can I go to DCA just for dinner? I have a park ticket for there the following day but the restaurant is full. Thank you!

    Hey, Haley! Welcome to planDisney.

I'm so glad you stopped by with your question. How amazing does it feel to have a Disneyland Resort trip on your calendar? What a great way to cope with those post-Christmas blues.

Carthay Circle is an elegant and classy restaurant that will take you back to Hollywood's golden age and leave your taste buds dancing and singing with delight. Getting a reservation for this restaurant isn't always easy. However, unfortunately, unless you have a Park Hopper, you won't be able to hop over to Disney California Adventure Park just for dinner. If you have a park reservation for Disneyland Park, you can only visit that particular park, I'm afraid. You can always switch your theme park reservations to keep your dining reservation at Carthay Circle. But that's a decision you'll have to make. Personally, I always like to begin my trip to The Happiest Place on Earth by visiting Disneyland Park.

Another idea: You can also keep checking to see if any reservations open up for Carthay Circle. If you check the day before or even the day of your visit, you might find a last-minute cancellation. I've done this so many times and secured some pretty hard-to-get reservations.

I hope that's helpful, Haley. Thanks for choosing to be our Guest.
