We have tickets and reservations for Disneyland for August 25, 2021. Is the Blue Bayou restaurant open for dine-in? Can we make reservations? Are any of the restaurants open for dine-in? I’ve tried making reservations online and I get a “no availability”.

    Hello again, Jessica!

Welcome back to planDisney! Thanks for bringing another question our way!

Blue Bayou Restaurant is a classic Disneyland dining location. You truly feel as though you’ve been transported to Louisiana! As a child, I would dine there with my mother every time we visited Disneyland. We always ordered Mint Juleps and watched the boats float by as we ate! It’s a very popular location so trying to make a dining reservation is the right thing to do!

Many of the table-service restaurants at the Disneyland Resort, including Blue Bayou, are open and accepting reservations. I always recommend booking your dining reservations as soon as possible to improve your chances of reserving your most desired date and time. Dining reservations can be booked up to 60 days in advance, using the Disneyland Mobile App, via the Disneyland Resort website or by calling (714) 781-DINE (714-781-3463). But, if you’re unable to snag a reservation, don’t lose hope! You can always check with the Cast Member at the host stand to inquire if there is walk-up availability on the day of your visit. My party had success using this method during a trip in June. The hostess was able to seat our party of 6 for lunch after we inquired about walk-up availability.

I hope this helps! Please keep heading back to planDisney with your future questions!
