If I have my tickets registered on the app, do I need the actual physical tickets?

    Haley,

Thanks for asking your question to planDisney!

No, if you have your theme park tickets loaded into your My Disney Experience Account, you do not have to carry a physical ticket as well. You will, however, need to have a way for the Cast Members to scan your ticket, and here are your options.

    MagicBand+ or MagicBand
If you have a MagicBand or MagicBand+ associated with your account, it can serve as your theme park ticket. After a quick scan at the park turnstiles, you are off to the magic!

    Smartphone
For many versions of smartphones, like my iPhone, you can use the Disney MagicMobile service to put the tickets in the phone's Wallet App. It can also be linked to your Apple Watch, if you have one. This way you can use your phone as your theme park ticket.

    Card
You can still request a physical card if you would prefer.

    BONUS TIP
Regardless of which form you choose, there are other things that you can do with your ticket beyond simply entering the parks. You can compare the features at the bottom of the MagicBand+ web page, but some of the conveniences include scanning into Lightning Lane entrances, charging food and merchandise purchases, and in some cases unlocking your resort hotel room!

Please feel free to write me back directly if you have any follow-up questions.

    Have a Magical Vacation!
