Hi Cheri!
I'm so glad you came to planDisney and are giving us a chance to help with your
Disneyland Resort vacation planning process!
First and foremost, I'm so sorry to hear that members of your party contracted COVID-19. I am sending all of Mickey's magic that I can muster up and hope everyone is back to their healthy selves soon!
GOOD NEWS! You can change the reservation dates for your specific party members that are unable to attend your currently planned vacation! To do this, you'll need to cancel their current theme park reservations by logging in to your Disneyland Resort account, selecting the "My Disneyland" link, clicking the "Ticket and Reservation Details" link and selecting the "Cancel Reservation" option. In the next step, you can select the party members you are wanting to cancel the reservations for. After canceling their current theme park reservations, you can book a new reservation for their desired date and theme park! The new reservation does not have to be booked right away. You are completely free to book at a later time. But please know that reservations are limited and can be fully booked. Be sure to check the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar.
Also, while
Theme Park Tickets are nonrefundable and nontransferable, they are valid until their stated expiration date. But what happens if the tickets expire you might wonder? Mickey and his pals have you covered there as well! Per Disney's
eTicket Terms & Conditions, any wholly unused, expired Disneyland Resort Theme Park tickets (except for special event tickets or tickets purchased from a third party), can be applied towards the purchase of a new Theme Park ticket in equal or greater value to what was paid for the original ticket!
And finally, when your party members are ready to embark on their Disneyland Resort vacation, they'll be glad to know that Mickey's team of health and safety experts are doing their best to monitor health and safety conditions throughout the Disneyland Resort! You can always visit the Disneyland Resort website for the
latest COVID-19 health and safety protocols!
Whew, I know that was a lot of information, so come back anytime if you have more questions! Wishing you all a swift recovery!
See ya real soon!
