Hiya, Jon!
Thank you for sending this Disneyland Resort planning question to us hEAR at planDisney!
Oh boy! I'm always in support of adding more Disney days to a calendar, especially in December. Be sure to keep up with the
Disney Parks Blog for all of the
winter Holiday fun you can look forward to at The Happiest Place on Earth! You can even
follow them across all of your social media accounts so you'll be sure to be on top of the newest Disneyland news!
I just took a quick look at both Target and AAA and while I didn't dive too deep into the individual terms on the various
Theme Park Admission Tickets and
Disneyland Resort Hotel Vacation Packages they sell, I
can share that the date restrictions and
ticket tiers apply only to 1-day Theme Park Admission Tickets, which I don't believe either company offers. If, however, you find another website that is selling 1-Day passes, the tickets should either break down their specific use and/or blockout terms or will say 'valid any day'. (I'm a military wife and bases sell slightly discounted Disney tickets. Our 1-Day Disneyland ticket options aren't tied to a tier nor do they have use-date restriction, so I know these unicorn passes are possible.)
Do remember that you'll also still need to make a
Park Pass Reservation for each Mouseketeer in your party. Park Pass Reservations tell Mickey and his pals which theme park you plan on playing in on which Disney day. You can find the
Park Pass Availability Calendar hEAR should you want to look to make sure your desired dates are still good-to-go before you purchase your tickets.
I hope that this answer helped to clEAR up your question, Jon! Be sure to follow the
