Hey, howdy, hey, Luis!
Yeehaw! A visit to the Disneyland Resort sounds like a
rootin' tootin' time. I’m sure you and your party are excited to spend some time at The Happiest Place on Earth!
The answer to your question depends on the type of
theme park ticket you purchased. If you picked up one-day, two-day, or even five-day tickets, you are good to go! Or if your tickets are good for only one park per day, i.e. not Park Hopper tickets, you are clear as well. Those types of tickets may often be purchased at Military Ticket Sales Offices at a discount. But they do not require any form of military ID when redeeming them.
If your tickets are three-day or four-day Park Hopper tickets, you may need to check if they are
2020 Military Promotional Tickets. My dear friend
Kristen N. shared some intel about these special tickets with me. Sometimes known as Military Salute tickets, these Military Promotional Tickets may only be redeemed when at least one member of your party has a valid ID indicating they are
active duty, 100% veteran disabled or fully retired with 20 years or more of service. If your tickets are not the Military Promotional Tickets, you won’t need any particular ID to use them.
I hope you get to enjoy some of the
new or upcoming offerings at the Disneyland Resort. The latest addition to Disneyland Park is the new
“Magic Happens” Parade. I love the amazing floats in this energetic parade. For an out-of-this-world experience,
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance takes you on a special mission to support the cause of the
Resistance. If you are visiting Disney California Adventure Park through April 21, 2020, you’ll want to savor some of the flavors of the
2020 Disney California Adventure Food & Wine Festival. My favorite
Festival Marketplace location this year is Cluck-a-Doodle-Moo.
Thanks for stopping by the Disney Parks Moms Panel, Luis. And thank you for your service to the nation.
