Hi, Dandrea! Thanks for stopping by planDisney with another great question. We're always happy to help!
I'm so sorry about your friend's mom's injury! Please wish her a speedy recovery for us. Hopefully, she'll be practically perfect again soon!
My guess is that since your tickets were bought by another Guest, you'll need her to
reassign the tickets to you. First, have her go into her
My Disney Experience account and scroll down the page to "My Plans, Reservations and Tickets." She'll click on the "Tickets & Memory Maker" tab, then locate the tickets you're planning to use. Next to that listing is a drop down menu that says "Reassign Ticket" that lists all of the Guests on her
Family & Friends list. If you're not on her list, she can add you by clicking on "Add a Guest." She can do that for each of the tickets she bought. Once she goes through that process, you should see the tickets in your account. After the tickets have been reassigned to you, you should be able to pick up your Admission Cards at the park entrance without her ID.
Dandrea, if this doesn't work or you're still having some issues, you'll need to speak to a Cast Member with Guest Relations. You can
call the number listed for "My Disney Experience and MagicBands," or save some time on hold by trying the Chat feature on the
My Disney Experience mobile app. You'll find it by clicking on the three horizontal lines in the bottom right corner of the home screen, then on the "Chat With Us" tile on the next page. Type in your question, and you'll get a notification when a Cast Member joins the chat. It can still take a little time, but I've found it to be a bit quicker since the phone lines have been very busy lately.
I have my fingers and toes crossed that this solves your problem so you can focus on your magical vacation, Dandrea! Have fun, and please come see us again if you have any more questions!
Keep Disney Dreaming,
Kathy K.
