Hi April. Thank you for reaching out to planDisney with your question. We are always happy to help!
While we all try our best to ensure everything about a vacation goes as planned, we all know that things can happen and things can change. The good news is that theme park tickets at
Walt Disney World Resort can usually be adjusted to your new plans if you should need to reschedule.
When you
purchase tickets to the theme parks, you must specify the dates you are visiting the parks. These tickets are nontransferable and nonrefundable. However, you can usually change the dates of your tickets as long as you change the dates before the start date of your original tickets. This can be done online through your
My Disney Experience account (under "Tickets, Passes, & Memory Maker") or
by calling the Existing Tickets line.
Before making the date change, please ensure that you have checked the
Theme Park Reservation Availability Calendar to verify that there's availability for the parks you'd like to visit on the new dates you'd like to visit them. At this time,
Theme Park Reservations are required for every member of your travel party for every day you are planning to visit a park.
Please be aware that the prices of tickets to the parks at the Walt Disney World Resort vary from day to day. As such, the price of the tickets for your new dates may be more or less expensive than your original dates. You will be responsible for any additional costs and there are no refunds or credits given if your new dates are less expensive.
April, no matter when you go, you are bound to have a truly magical time. Feel free to
reach out to planDisney again should you have any further questions!
Always let your conscience be your guide,
Matt
