Hi Ruth, and welcome to planDisney! Now that your theme park tickets have been purchased, you are one step closer to a magical visit to the Disneyland Resort. Let's talk about how to link the tickets to your MyDisney account so you can make your
park reservations!
Ruth, a confirmation number is different from the ticket number. You'll need the ticket number to link the ticket to your account. So, the first thing you'll want to do is look for a confirmation email with an eTicket attachment or a link to access the eTickets. If you only have a confirmation number and can't locate your eTicket, I suggest calling the Tickets line to speak with a Cast Member.
Once you have located your ticket number (which is typically shown under the barcode), you can easily link it on the
Disneyland website or in the
Disneyland mobile app. On the website, hover over the "My Disneyland" button and click "
Link Tickets and Passes." Enter the ticket ID number and follow the prompts until it is successfully added. Alternatively, open the mobile app, tap the three horizontal lines in the bottom corner of the screen (☰), and then tap "My Tickets & Passes" near the top. To link a new ticket, tap the blue circle with a plus sign (+) at the top of the screen and then tap "Link Tickets & Passes". Tap the "Type ID" link at the top of the screen and enter the ticket number manually.
Once your ticket is linked to your account, it's time to make a park reservation! On the website, hover over the "My Disneyland" button and click "
Theme Park Reservations." From there, click "Make or Modify Park Reservations" and then "Book Theme Park Reservation" to select the date you'd like to visit with your ticket. To do this on the app, tap the plus (+) icon at the bottom of the screen, tap "Make a Park Reservation," and then tap "Make or Modify Park Reservations." From here, the process is the same as on the website.
Ruth, as you prepare for your trip, check the
Disney Parks Blog for the latest updates about seasonal menus, merchandise, and experiences at the Disneyland Resort. The
Lightning Lane Multi Pass is an excellent option for making the most of your time in the park – not only will you be able to make selections throughout the day to access certain attractions from the Lightning Lane entrance, but you'll also get unlimited digital downloads of all the
PhotoPass photos you take that day.
If you have any other questions, please reach out. We're always happy to help here at planDisney!
Wishing you magic,
Kriss
