Heigh-ho David! It's off to Walt Disney World you go! I can't think of a better place to celebrate the wonder of Christmas Day than in the Most Magical Place on Earth.
I love the idea of a spur of the moment, spontaneous Disney adventure. Although I love to dream about my vacations months in advance (planning is a major part of the fun for me!), some of my family's most memorable visits have been when we've decided to go just a few days beforehand.
While it is possible to buy next-day or even same-day tickets, during the current phase of reopening, all Guests must reserve their theme park visits before entry using the
Disney Pass System. As of today, the
Availability Calendar is currently showing that for December 25th, 2020, both
EPCOT and
Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park are accepting reservations. I suggest
purchasing theme park admission and securing a Disney Park Pass as soon as possible if spending Christmas Day at either location sounds jolly to you.
Should you decide to visit, a standard one-day theme park ticket valid on December 25, 2020 is currently $159 for adults and $154 for children. Since you are lucky enough to reside in the Sunshine State, you may be eligible for special
Florida Resident ticket offers, so be sure to check them out before purchasing. Keep in mind that all prices are subject to change and do not include tax.
I hope you have a magical holiday at Walt Disney World, David! Disney's Animal Kingdom Theme Park looks especially festive this time of year. Don't miss the
Tree of Life Holiday Awakenings, and stop by
Satu'li Canteen for the
White-Chocolate Peppermint Cream Cheese Mousse. Oh my garland, it is delicious! And speaking of tasty treats, should you spend the day at EPCOT, I hope your tummy is rumbly because you're in for a culinary adventure at the
Taste of EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays. If your tooth is extra sweet, I suggest taking on the
Holiday Cookie Stroll. Yum!
Wishing you a happy and healthy holiday season,
Betsy
