Are the tickets that my planning partner purchased for our trip on May 9th in good order? He seems to think that my children are not registered and will not be able to enter the park. I've been on hold trying to talk to someone on the phone, no luck.

    Hi Kari! Welcome to planDisney.

I see you are just a few weeks away from your Walt Disney World Resort vacation. How exciting! Spring is in bloom all around the Walt Disney World Resort, and you are going to love the colors, the weather, and the magic you’re about to experience. Yay!

You should be able to view your plans in your My Disney Experience account. To log in to My Disney Experience, navigate to the Walt Disney World Resort website, and click My Disney Experience on the right side of the screen. Once you’re logged in, you should be able to see resort hotel, dining, tickets, and Disney Park Pass reservations under “My Plans.”

If you scroll down the “My Plans” page you can see your Daily Itinerary. I assume your children’s My Disney Experience profiles are managed by you, which means you should be able to see their plans. For each day that a Disney Park Pass reservation has been made, you should be able to see anyone in your planning party – so, your planning partner (I assume you are linked through the Family & Friends feature), yourself, and your children. For example, when I scroll down my “My Plans” page, I can see the date and all my plans for that day, so it says “Disney Park Pass” and then “EPCOT” and then shows each of my family members’ icon and name.

If your planning partner purchased the tickets and assigned a ticket to each Guest’s My Disney Experience profile, the next step would have been to make Disney Park Pass reservations for each day of your visit. To enter a theme park, each Guest must have a Disney Park Pass reservation in addition to a ticket; this is because capacity is limited as part of the phased reopening of the Walt Disney World Resort.

If your planning partner didn’t make Disney Park Pass reservations for your children, you will need to do that now. Since your partner purchased the tickets, they will need to associate the tickets with each child’s profile. As the parent, you are likely the person who set up and manages their My Disney Experience profiles and will need to connect your children to your planning partner through Family & Friends. If you don’t have My Disney Experience profiles, follow the steps to set up your account, and then create a profile for each child. Next, find your planning partner in “My Family & Friends” by clicking “Add a Guest” and following the steps. Once you’ve linked yourself and your children to your planning partner, they should be able to associate the tickets to each of you and then you can make your Disney Park Pass reservation.

I hope this helps, Kari. If you haven’t made Disney Park Pass reservations, I recommend doing that as quickly as you can, as some theme parks have already reached capacity for the coming weeks. If you need further assistance, the Cast Members at the My Disney Experience help desk will be able to help get it all straightened out. I know you’ve been having trouble with wait times, but calling is the best way to ensure everything is linked and set up the way you want. They can be reached at (407) 939-4357. I usually put the phone on speakerphone and multitask when I’m waiting on hold.

I’m sending pixie-dusted wishes that it all gets straightened out quickly and easily so you can focus on the fun. Have the best time next month!

    Wishing you a magical vacation,
    Robyn
