Can the tickets be placed on lanyard instead of carrying

Greetings, Elsie! Welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel and thanks for your question!

As you are aware, most of the theme park tickets issued at the Disneyland Resort are paper tickets about the size of a credit card. You will use these for admission to both parks and to obtain FASTPASS tickets for certain attractions. Since you will be taking these out frequently, it's best to keep them in a safe spot that's easily accessible. If you have a lanyard with a clear pouch, then using that would be a great idea! Keeping it in a clear pouch will keep it safe, but will still allow it to be scanned at the entrance gates and when you redeem FASTPASSES. Keep in mind that you will have to remove the ticket from the lanyard to insert it into the FASTPASS distribution kiosk to initially obtain your FASTPASS ticket.

For even more ease of use, consider purchasing Disney MaxPass. While you will still need to scan your theme park ticket when you enter the parks, you can then use the Disneyland app on your phone to obtain FASTPASSES the rest of the day. With Disney MaxPass, you can select a FASTPASS from anywhere in the park and then use your phone to redeem it at the attraction.

I hope this helps. See ya real soon!
