If I have all tickets for my party on my log in do they need to sign in on my log in to get tickets on their phone?

Welcome to planDisney, Louise! The tech questions are some of my favorites, so I'm glad I got your question today!

One of the many things I love about the Walt Disney World Resort is how you can access the magic while you're on vacation. And the Disney MagicMobile Service is a great way for people who would like just to tap their phone to get into the parks! So let's get your questions answered.

At this time, you can use the Disney MagicMobile Service to share passes with other Guests through Apple devices. This way, they can add the pass to their Apple Wallet and use it to tap into the parks. If they have Android devices, it is recommended that they log into their own MyDisney account through the My Disney Experience mobile app on their phone (if they are 13 years of age or older), create their own pass, and add it to their wallet. Of course, you can also scan in for them or visit a Guest Relations location outside of the parks or the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs for a physical card that they can scan. See? I told you there are options!

When you're at the resort, you can share MagicMobile passes through Apple devices by tapping the 3 horizontal lines (☰) in the bottom right-hand corner of the app. Then, scroll down and select "Set up MagicMobile Entry." Click the plus sign (+) in the upper right-hand corner and follow the instructions to set up a pass for each eligible Guest. Once created, click "Select Passes to Share," select the desired passes, and then click "Share via Messages."

Of course, my absolute favorite way to access the magic is with a Disney Band. These nifty little accessories can be linked to each Guest and used to tap into the parks, access their Disney Resorts Collection Hotel room, charge items back to their room, tap into any reserved Lightning Lanes, and more. And not only that, the latest versions of these bands interact with the nighttime spectaculars, certain statues around the resort, and some attractions. While you don't need one, they are certainly magical! You can purchase them at many merchandise locations around the resort.

Louise, if you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Have a wonderful September visit and be sure to eat some delicious treats from the EPCOT International Food & Wine Festival and the many Halloween offerings around the resort! I expect a full report when you get back...or at the very least, very satisfied stomachs and hearts.

    Stay magical,
    Matt
