Bienvenue, Caryn!
It's always a special treat to help a fellow American Mouseketeer say
bonjour to Disneyland Paris. I'm so glad you stopped by
planDisney with your question!
If you're hoping to maximize magic while minimizing waits during your visit to Disneyland Paris, you'll be so glad you purchased
Disney Premier Access Ultimate. In my opinion, this particular add-on is always worth it...but even more so when you're channeling your inner Moana and crossing an ocean to embark on your magical vacation, hoping to make the most of each magical moment. With Premier Access Ultimate, you'll be able to bypass the standby queue once for each eligible attraction without reserving a time slot. You'll simply head to an attraction at a time that works best for you and move to the front of the queue faster than you can say
bibbidi bobbidi boo. Just like magic!
While Disney Premier Access is sure to make you feel like a
Very Important Mouseketeer on Disneyland Paris attractions, it unfortunately will not grant you access to the
Reserved Viewing Areas for Disney Tales of Magic or Disney Stars on Parade. To secure a prime viewing spot in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle, you'll need to purchase access to the reserved viewing area for both events separately from your Premier Access Ultimate and independently of each other. If you booked directly through Disneyland Paris, you should be able to add the purchase to your booking as soon as it is paid in full, but if you booked your visit through a third party, your reserved viewing access booking window will open one week before your arrival date, pending availability.
It's important to keep in mind that Reserved Viewing is quite popular and does regularly sell out. If you are unable to make the purchase for yourself,
Hakuna Matata! There are so many great places to enjoy a parade or nighttime spectacular in
Disneyland Park, so you can still enjoy a great view. You'll just need to secure your spot a bit earlier. I suggest grabbing a Mickey-shaped snack and settling into yours no less than half an hour in advance.
I'd love to share one more tip before I bid you
adieu, Caryn. If you haven't yet, be sure to download the
Disneyland Paris mobile app before you're in the middle of the magic. Not only will it hold your theme park tickets and Disney Premier Access, but it's also a handy tool to help you familiarize yourself with theme park maps before arrival. As someone who knows the theme parks of Walt Disney World Resort like the back of my hand, it was comforting to have an idea of each theme park's layout while we were in Paris.
I hope this helps and that you'll come see us again here at planDisney with any additional questions that arise! You've got a friend in me!
Thinking Happy Thoughts,
Lizzie
