we have tickets at parks different than our 14 year old daughter (Varsity Cheer Comp) . She has Magic Kingdom May 1 and Animal Kingdom May 2. Mom and Dad are at Epcot both days. Need help planning this vacation is not a complete waste of $$$$$$

    Hi Tamala! Welcome to planDisney!

I am so excited for the many families that are like you and are traveling to the Walt Disney World Resort to watch their kids compete next week! What a magical location for an event. There is so much to see and explore in the theme parks, but outside of the theme parks as well. Disney Springs is a personal favorite and I highly recommend you plan some time there!

I understand how tricky it can be to put together a Disney vacation, especially at the last minute. The Disney Park Pass reservation system is so important at this time with current precautions in place. Disney puts Guest and Cast Member health and safety first, while also making sure the magic is still there!

You have a couple of options. First, keep checking for theme park availability to join in your daughter's theme park days. You never know when availability will open up! Second, if your daughter is going with a group and you are okay with going to EPCOT with your husband, I say DO IT! My husband and I just planned a trip so the two of us can eat and drink all.the.things. by ourselves without kids. And right now with the Taste of EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival taking place, there is even more fun to be had!

I hope whichever choice you want that all your wishes come true, Tamala! Please let us know if you have any other questions.
