Do we have to have tickets to a park to canp at Fort Wilderness?

Hi Richard, and welcome to planDisney!

I often say this, but I am a fan of Disney's Fort Wilderness Resort & Campground, and I love all this property has to offer its guests.

No, you do not need to be in possession of theme park tickets to enjoy a stay at Disney's Fort Wilderness or any Disney Resort Hotel. As a matter of fact, you do not have to leave the property and can enjoy all the resort offers. You can take a walk, enjoy the pool, bring or rent bikes, or rent a golf cart. Another fun and simple activity you could experience would be to hop the Walt Disney World Water Transportation and enjoy the scenery without getting off. If you would like, you can get off at one of the resorts and grab a bite to eat or do some shopping.

Go and have the best time and enjoy the property's tranquility. For more information, you can always review the available planDisney Pocket Guide. Otherwise, planDisney will be here if you have additional questions.

    Have a magical time!
