Welcome, Vitaliy.
I cannot believe it has been almost one year since Disneyland Resort theme parks closed its gates due to the pandemic. Like many people, I am eagerly waiting for safe reopening of
Disneyland Park and
Disney California Adventure Park.
The Disneyland Resort recently
updated extension dates for tickets purchased before theme park closure. This is dependent on your ticket type. For non-promotional single day tickets that expire on December 30, 2020 or March 21, 2021, the expiration date has been extended to December 16, 2021. Wholly unused, non-promotional multi-day tickets that expire January 12, 2021 or April 13, 2021 will now have expiration date extended to December 16, 2021, and the ticket will expire 13 days after first use or on December 16, 2021, whichever comes first. Expiration dates on eligible ticket(s) will be updated before Disneyland Resort theme parks’ reopening. In general, most wholly unused theme park tickets will retain its original purchased value even after they expire; Guests can apply this value towards purchase of new tickets.
On the other hand, if your school received the tickets as a donation from Disneyland Resort (for example, they are complimentary and have no purchased value), the extension may not apply in this case. Without knowing which exact tickets you currently have, I recommend that you contact your school’s event organizer/coordinator for additional guidelines or see if arrangements can be made to exchange the tickets. Given this unusual circumstance that the pandemic presented, it doesn’t hurt to ask. Moreover, Vitaliy, you can also contact Ticket Services at (714) 781- 4636 and speak directly with a Cast Member who will gladly assist you.
As Disneyland Resort theme parks work toward safe reopening, keep an eye on the
Disneyland website and
Disney Parks Blog for official updates and news.
