We have tickets to one park per day (no hopper) and hope to catch parade/fireworks each day. Do we have to utilize tickets for the parks to be able to view? Want to make sure I plan our days appropriately if so.

    Hi Sheena,

Thanks for visiting Disney Parks Moms Panel.

I think Walt Disney World fireworks are simply among the most spectacular. The sights, sounds, and stories make for amazing experiences. For me, there's nothing quite the same as being there up close and completely immersed in the spectacle.

Sometimes, though, our plans place us outside the theme parks when we want to take in the shows in the sky. For viewing Magic Kingdom fireworks outside the park, I have a few go-to spots. California Grill is my favorite restaurant, and offers the extra perk of  providing a great view for the fireworks. The Sky Way Bridge connecting Disney's Contemporary Resort with Bay Lake Tower at Disney's Contemporary Resort is another nice spot. The beach at Disney's Polynesian Village Resort is also a fun place to catch the sky show.

I simply love IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth at Epcot. Disney's BoardWalk offers a fun and entertaining stroll among shops, restaurants, and entertainment, and it also offers a nice spot to watch the fireworks portion of  IllumiNations. There is a bridge connecting Disney's BoardWalk to the path towards International Gateway that gives a nice vantage point.

    Enjoy your Disney!

Meet the Panelist: Jerry, Pennsylvania

The playful and creative optimism of all things Disney has enthralled me since I was a kid. I loved watching "The Wonderful World of Disney" on Sunday nights, seeing all the live-action and animated classics in theaters, and — of course — visiting "The Most Magical Place on Earth" for the first time 45 years ago. These days, the big kid in me still loves to play Disney. As a long-time Disney destinations vacationer, I'm looking forward to helping you play Disney starting here at planDisney!
