Hiya Staci!
Thank you for sending us your question, and welcome to planDisney, the most magical place on the internet! I'm so excited that you came to us with your magical question, and I am honoured to be helping you today. Can you believe that in just a few months, you will be in Florida, soaking in all the magic? I know it may sound like worlds away right now, but I assure you these last months will go by so quickly!
Now, let's talk about those tickets. Wow, Stacy, that truly sounds like some real Disney magic! I love that you will be able to bring your family together at the Walt Disney World Resort, and I hope we can bibbidi, bobbidi boo some magic today. The good news is that
Disney still honours expired tickets and tickets purchased with no expiration date. If the tickets have not yet been linked to your
My Disney Experience account, you should be able to link them online. However, I would highly suggest reaching out to a Cast Member via
chat, email or phone so that they can help you with this, as linking older theme park tickets can be tricky. Disney Cast Members truly are real-life fairy godparents, and I am sure that they will be able to make some magic for you!
Did you know that you have picked an especially magical time to come and visit the Walt Disney World Resort? Indeed, you will be able to experience the
World's Most Magical Celebration and all the unique offerings it has to offer. Firstly, make sure to stay at the theme parks after sunset to see the park icons light up in an EARidescent glow. Also, keep your eyes peeled for statues of your favourite characters around the theme parks in celebration of your favourite Disney stories. Second, I would suggest planning enough time to visit Magic Kingdom Park and watch all the wonderful entertainment available. Both Magic Kingdom Park and EPCOT have celebratory fireworks,
Disney Enchantment and
Harmonious, which have already become some of my favourite nighttime spectaculars. In fact, you must watch Disney Enchantment in the middle of Main Street USA for some extra magic! However, you must also grab a spot in front of Cinderella Castle to watch
Mickey's Magical Friendship Faire, which celebrates the place where the magic feels like home, and the celebratory cavalcade. Plus, no Disney vacation is complete without a Mickey hug, so don't forget to stop by the
Town Square Theatre to meet him in his EARidescent attire.
I hope this was helpful, Stacy, and that you and your Ohana will have the best day ever on your upcoming Disney vacation. If you have any other questions in the time leading up to your visit, please don't hesitate to reach out. You and me, we're in a club now!
Have a magical day,
Ariane
