Hi Leonor,
Welcome and thanks for taking the time to visit us on
planDisney with your question!
Leonor, I’m sorry you were unable to visit the
Disneyland Resort theme parks last year because of the pandemic. I’m excited for the magical day of April 30, 2021 when the theme parks will finally reopen for California residents with limited capacity. I cannot wait to
return and stroll down Main Street, U.S.A. with a Mickey pretzel (my favorite!) in hand.
Hakuna Matata, Leonor. According to the
latest announcements from Disneyland Resort and
Disney Parks Blog, Guests with previously purchased tickets (and couldn’t use them due to the closure as a result of the pandemic) can begin making reservations for park entry on April 12, 2021. Additionally, expiration dates for most ticket types have been extended, giving Guests more time to enjoy their trip back to the Disneyland Resort!
Leonor, I recommend that you ensure your valid theme park tickets are currently linked to your Disney account. You may have to re-link the tickets if they are not readily showing up. Some Guests have had their previously linked theme park tickets “disappear” from their Disney account because the original expiration date had passed. Most likely Stitch is wreaking havoc! Once linked, you should be able to access the theme park reservation system no earlier than 8 AM on April 12, 2021. When prompted, you’ll create your travel party, choose the date and park you wish to visit, review and confirm your selections! Ta-Da. You’ll be on your way back to the Happiest Place on Earth in no time!
If you have issues linking your valid tickets to your Disney account, you can contact Ticket Services at (714) 781-4636 and a friendly Cast Member will gladly provide assistance.
I hope this information is helpful for you. Please don’t hesitate to visit us on planDisney again! We’re all EARS.
Have a magical day,
Kiki
