I have tickets which do not need a reservation and say I can pick up at will call. I also have Magic Bands from last year. I see both tickets and bands on my Disney app. Can I link these to enter parks with bands, or do I need to pick up physical tickets?

Hi there Heather and a warm Canadian welcome to planDisney!

I hope you're looking forward to your upcoming trip this month - there's been a steady flow of fellow Canucks flowing down from the north for March Break and especially to take advantage of the special ticket offer aimed at Canadian Residents this year! Now I wish I knew what kind of tickets you have to give you the most accurate answer here, as it can vary depending on a number of factors based on where you got your tickets from; for example, the Canadian Resident offer tickets may require you to bring proof of residency to a Cast Member at one of these windows outside of the theme parks in order for them to verify your eligibility and be activated (though several Canadians have reported that they've been able to bypass this having previously been verified).

Did you know that outside of the United States our favourite wrist-worn MagicBand wearables are actually known as Disney Bands? You might have noticed this on the Canadian versions of the Walt Disney World Resort website. Generally speaking if you've still got yours from a previous trip, you should still be able to use these to enter the theme parks as long as the tickets are already linked to your Disney account, are active and show up assigned to you in My Disney Experience.

You'll ultimately know if it all works out when you attempt to tap your Disney Band to enter the theme parks - if for any reason the tickets aren't properly linked or still require verification the turnstile will light up blue and you may be temporarily redirected for a Cast Member to assist you. To avoid this you might want to head to the Will Call window directly, but in the interest of saving time on your theme park morning you can also head to the Disney Ticket Center at Disney Springs the day before as you arrive in Orlando to have them confirm and ensure that you're good to go!

While you're here, be sure to check out the EPCOT International Flower & Garden Festival which is currently in full swing - I always recommend fellow Canadians to check out the latest quirky poutine offering at each festival to see whether you think the current Plant-based Buffalo Chicken Tender Poutine on Crispy Potato Barrels is something you can say is a "Yea, Nay or Not bad, eh?" as you try it. In the meantime, don't hesitate to come back to planDisney for any other tips, tricks or advice before you head down for some Floridian sun!

Wishing you the best March trip to the Most Magical Place on Earth!
