Hi, we have tickets to MVMCP. We plan on spending the day at the MK before the party. Do we have to exit the park and re-enter for the event?

    Hi, Jane!

Merry Christmas in July! And welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. I hope you are having fun planning your yuletide vacation to Walt Disney World® Resort - it's the most wondEARful time of year to visit.

When planning a day at Magic Kingdom Park in conjunction with a night of fun at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, you will not need to leave the park and re-enter. Guests already in the park when the party begins will be able to visit a wristband distribution location within the park to have their tickets or MagicBands scanned and then receive their party wristbands. There will be locations in Tomorrowland, Adventureland & Fantasyland  - just look for the signs and Christmassy dressed Cast Members, they usually begin distribution sometime near/after 4pm.

I hope this helps, Jane! I also suggest keeping an eye on the Disney Parks Blog as we get closer to the holidays. It's the number one source for information on all the magical fun at Disney Parks. Please let me know if you should have any additional questions. I am here to help you plan a vacation that will have you in the holiday spirit.
