Have tickets to MVMCP for Dec 11. Looks like it may rain. Would the party be cancelled, and if so do you get the option of a refund or attend a party later in the week? Staying till December 16th. Love all of you Moms and Dads.

    Hi Annette!

Thanks so much for writing to me!
You must be getting excited about your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World!

The fun festivities of Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party take place on planned evenings - rain or shine! I attended last year with my family, and it just so happened to end up being a rainy evening. We still had tonnes of fun! The parade still goes on, and with a few ponchos - we still enjoyed every bit as much of the fun as we would have had it been a dry evening.

I'm sure you're going to have a fabulous vacation and a great evening at Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! Don't even worry about the weather this far out. It changes so quickly there ... and often if rain is in the forecast, it's only short-lived.

Ticket exchanges are generally not done based on weather, however if you've decided to change your itinerary and would like to inquire about ticket availability for an alternate evening, I'd suggest that you call the Ticket Services Line before you leave home at (407) 566-4985.

I hope you'll write me back again soon with more great questions.
Wishing you a simply Magical time at Walt Disney World Annette!

    Kirsten
