We have tickets for MVMCP on Dec. 18. Can you see the fireworks from anywhere in the Park? Where do the shows like Celebrate the seasons and A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas shows take place?

    Hi Tommy,

You're going to love Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party (MVMCP)!  Although they haven't released the schedule for the parades & fireworks for the 2011 dates, here's the schedule from the 2010 dates:

    • Mickey's Once Upon A Christmastime Parade: 8:15 p.m. & 10:30 p.m.  Last year it began in Frontierland & made its way to Town Square at the end of Main Street. The 2nd parade is usually less crowded.
    • "Holiday Wishes - Celebrate the Spirit of the Season" Fireworks Spectacular: 9:30 p.m. For the best view of this, I like to be on the Main Street side of Cinderella Castle so that I can see all of the projections on the front of the Castle.  Fantasyland offers an okay view too.
    • "A Totally Tomorrowland Christmas" Show: 7:45 p.m., 8:45 p.m., 9:55 p.m. 10:50 p.m. & 11:45 p.m.  This takes place on the Rockettower Plaza Stage in Tomorrowland which is located between the PeopleMover station & Space Mountain.
    • "Celebrate the Season" Show: 7:45 p.m., 10:05 p.m. & 11:20 p.m. on the Castle Forecourt Stage in front of Cinderella Castle.
    • Character Dance Parties at The Diamond Horseshoe & Cosmic Rays.
    • Special Disney Character Meet & Greets 7:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m.  Be sure to check your MVMCP Guide Map for locations indicated by the white Mickey glove. You'll also find others in other areas as well.

The MVMCP Guide Map will also indicate locations for complimentary holiday treats & special event merchandise locations. Be sure to pick one up as you enter the Magic Kingdom to confirm this year's schedule of events. In the past, I've seen the special event maps posted on unofficial Disney websites within hours of the first night of the event.

Wishing you minnie magical holiday memories :-) Allison
