Just got tickets for MVMCP for Dec. 3rd. Going to AK for opening, Tusker House for lunch at ~11:30. What do you recommend for an afternoon scenario, if we leave park at about 2pm and want dinner at 'Ohana. Kids are 6/4 so will need little rest. Thanks.

    Hi Sara,

Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with your question.  I am so happy to hear you have got tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party, it is my family's favourite special event at Walt Disney World Resort. There is something magical about walking down Main Street U.S.A. with the decorations and snow, it just makes my heart melt!

Because your children are still quite young, I think resting before the party is a wise choice.  After lunch, I would suggest seeing one of the fabulous shows at Disney's Animal Kingdom Park such as the Festival of the Lion King or Finding Nemo - The Musical.  From there I would head back to your resort for a little rest before dinner.  Guests are able to enter Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00, so I would recommend making your dinner reservations early so you can maximize your time at the Party.

Enjoy the magic of the holiday season on your upcoming Walt Disney World Resort vacation Sara.  Please let me know if I can be of further assistance while you are planning your Holiday.
