Got tickets for MNSSHP on 9/25. I was wondering what kind of costume I should bring for the kids. How warm will it be @ night? Coming from NJ so I usually buy warmer costumes. Might need to get two this year!!

Hi Diana!  You have an excellent question about costumes for your upcoming trip to Walt Disney World and the Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween Party.  We come every year and attend this great event so I have some suggestions for you and your family.

Most likely the weather will still be quite warm in late September so you will need costumes that are light weight and cool for the children.  Sometimes just special hats can be used instead of full blown outfits.  Because of the difference in your weather at home and at Disney at that time of year I doubt one costume will work.  Try to keep the Disney one simple and inexpensive as the kids will be having so much fun they won't notice what they are wearing anyway!

My second suggestion is to remember to keep a costume easy to wear on the attractions.  I have seen some amazing and cute ones that prevent their wearers from enjoying themselves on the rides without having to take them off each time.

So keep in mind....cool and lightweight, and easy to wear on rides!
