    Do the tickets for the MNSSHP typically sell out? We are going the week of October 18th. I was hoping to purchase closer to the event to see how the weather will be.

    Hi Patricia! Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel!

    I am absolutely in LOVE with Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party. As I am typing this answer I am singing in my head “Boo to You, the Boo to You” the song from Mickey’s Boo-to-You Halloween Parade. This event really makes me feel like a kid again. One year my husband and I even dressed up like Pirates and had Pirate makeovers at the Pirates League in Magic Kingdom Park. It was the experience of a lifetime. I had so much fun and laughed so much it was a night I will remember forever.

    I am like you and I try to wait it out to buy tickets to the special events. I would be sad if it rained on an event night and I wouldn’t be able to view the parade, or if rides were shut down due to inclement weather. With that being said the closer a party is to Halloween, the greater chance it has of selling out. A lot of these parties do sell out. If you are flexible on your dates you may have a better chance of getting a different party if your original date is sold out. I would say if you are nervous about the event being sold out, buy your tickets in advance. It may even save you a little bit of money!
