Hey, Brandie!
Welcome back to the Disney Parks Moms Panel. It is wonderful to see you again.
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is the party of the year! With Magic Kingdom Park draped in pumpkins, scarecrows, and other fall festive delights, Guests are treated to ghoulishly delicious treats and sweets. Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party is not just for kids and is a party that will surely raise spirits. Happy HalloWishes Fireworks spectacular is sorcery in the sky!
This is an expensive party and you don't want to miss a minute of it. With the low crowd levels, access to almost every attraction, trick-or-treat trails and unique Disney character meet and greets, I think you are better invested in the party than eating at
Be Our Guest Restaurant.
Disney Dad Tip 1: If you really want to eat at Be Our Guest Restaurant I'd look for an earlier reservation time closer to your trip. Guests change plans all the time. A 5:00 p.m. dining time would be perfect. This would give you time to get in line to meet special Disney friends. All Seven Dwarfs come out for this event to take a group photo with Guests and people get in line to meet them around 6:00 p.m.
Disney Dad Tip 2: Watch out for the Headless Horseman and Hitchhiking Ghosts (Phineas, Ezra, and Gus) during Mickey's Boo-to-You! parade. The best place to view the parade is along the wooden walkway in Frontierland or just in front of the Hall of Presidents attraction. Bring a backpack for all the candy you will get. One year we collected over 10lbs. Wow!
Brandie, enjoy making many Spooktacular Magical Memories!
