I have tickets for MNSSHP on Aug.11. I also have separate Magic Kingdom tickets linked to my account that I will use on Aug.15. How do I ensure that when I scan my magic band to enter MNSSHP at 4:00 my separate Magic Kingdom tickets won’t be used instead?

Greetings Laura and welcome to planDisney!

Or should I say Boo to You! I’m so excited that you are going to join the gang at Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! My family has trick-or-treated with Mickey and Minnie on many occasions, and we absolutely love the party at the Magic Kingdom!  I’m also a big fan of your choice to enter the park at 4pm to take full advantage of your party ticket!

Laura, your regular theme park ticket will not be used on the day of Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party if you do not enter any park before 4pm.  The party ticket functions as its own admission and allows you to enter the Magic Kingdom at 4pm even though the party festivities officially begin at 7pm.

The Walt Disney World ticketing system will only deduct a day from your park tickets when you scan into a park using that day's specific ticket. So, when you check into the Magic Kingdom with your party ticket at or after 4pm on your party date, your regular daily ticket will remain unused and ready to be scanned on its appropriate date!

Laura, we use the extra time before the party starts to enjoy a few rides, do a little pin trading, and scout out our plans for the night! Once the party starts, my wife loves Mickey’s “Boo to You” Halloween Parade which is hauntingly fun and the musical tunes are an ear worm for the rest of the night! This is Halloween!  I’m a big fan of Space Mountain in total darkness! I’ve been known to take multiple trips to space throughout the night!  And Laura, don’t forget the tasty treats! So many choices. So much fun!

Laura, have a fantastic adventure, and don’t forget to enjoy a Mickey Bar or two!
