Hello, Cheryl! Thank you so much for returning to the Disney Parks Moms Panel! Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party is a wonderful way to spend a fall evening at Walt Disney World Resort.
When you purchase a ticket to
Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, it will either link to your MagicBand or you will have your hard ticket to scan at the Touchpoints. No other park ticket will be drawn from your account after 4pm on a Halloween party night; those bands are so smart! If you are already in
Magic Kingdom earlier in the day, after 6pm or 7pm you will be denied entrance to rides and then later, restaurants, stores, and most extreme after the party begins, restrooms. Cast Members are on hand to ask for party wristbands (which are obtained at the front entrance area after showing your tickets or MagicBands) and if you do not have a party ticket, you will be escorted to the exit. As far as dinner reservations go, many restaurants will be closing for the 2017 parties at 6pm. This will allow guests to make an earlier reservation after enjoying the park, but allow party guests with tickets to enjoy all the aspects of the Halloween celebration.
If you do not have a Mickey Halloween ticket, I urge you to
make dining reservations for a Magic Kingdom dinner before 6pm, or perhaps enjoy a Resort restaurant or other park during the evening. This will guarantee you a sit-down meal without you having to be escorted to the exit. Keep in mind that there is not a Halloween party every day of the week, so you can still enjoy Happily Ever After and other nighttime spectaculars. Please let me know if I can help you any further with your fall vacation! ~ Lindsey P.
