Hiya, Hope! Welcome to planDisney!
You are planning a trip during my favorite time at
Walt Disney World Resort. I adore the fall decor and seasonal flavors peeking through so many treats at the parks.
I find spending the day at Magic Kingdom Park before
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party to be ghoulishly delightful. People tend to head to the other parks that are open later, keeping the crowds a bit lighter.
But let's keep that as our little secret.I checked with a Cast Member to confirm you can book dinner reservations at
Liberty Tree Tavern for 6 pm. You can do this, but you may want to get a reservation just a little bit earlier. I totally understand the desire to maximize your day and time in the parks, but a slightly earlier time may give you less of a rushed feeling.
Liberty Tree Tavern is my son's absolute favorite restaurant in Walt Disney World. If we cooked a Thanksgiving-style turkey year-round, he would be so happy. With the family-style buffet, you will want time to enjoy all the courses and savor every bite of the Patriot's Platter. I don't know what is in the House Made Salad Dressing, but it's so good! And then, of course, you will want to save some appetite and time for the Oooey Gooey Toffee Cake!
If you have any other questions as your
date to make dining reservations and your trip approaches, please come back to
planDisney! And on another trip, you might want to consider staying for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. It is quite the celebration. Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade will have the upbeat song playing "Boo to you! And you!" on repeat in your head.
Happy Haunting!
