Hi there Michael and welcome back to planDisney!
As the moon climbs high o'er dead oak trees you'll arrive for the midnight spree at Magic Kingdom Park. I'm glad to know you've already got your tickets to
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party and made your
Theme Park Reservations via the Disney Park Pass System for Magic Kingdom Park for a daytime visit. You're already ahead of the game. Now it's just time to fill you in on the finer points of how to make your Disney Day the best one yet.
Regular day Guests of
Magic Kingdom Park are required to exit by 6 PM if they're not attending the party. Guests of the party can start entering the park as early as 4 PM. Since you're doing both, you don't actually have to leave at all. In years past there have been Cast Members giving out wristbands to party goers so that they could be distinguished from other Guests. Usually, they would be up near the front of the park. You could essentially be there from
Early Theme Park Entry if you're staying at one of the participating hotels until midnight if that's what's in your heart to do.
I've definitely chosen to spend my day in Magic Kingdom Park as both a regular Guest and a party Guest before. To keep from being too exhausted, here are some pro-tips to get through the day and still have enough energy to dance until you die and came back to life with the Sanderson Sisters at the
Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular.
1. Get to Magic Kingdom Park early. I'm definitely Team Rope Drop and like to get to the park as early as possible to ride a couple of my favorite attractions like Peter Pan's Flight and Big Thunder Mountain Railroad before the wait times get out of hand.
2. Leave the park early. Usually, by about noon or 1 PM at the latest, I'm ready to head out. This is a great time to go back to your
Disney Resorts Collection hotel for a very serious nap. You're going to need it if you want to have enough stamina to party like you really should. Trust me, littles and adults alike will be in a much better mood with a bit of rest.
3. Get up around 3 PM and start getting ready to go. Get those costumes on and be on your way back to Magic Kingdom Park to make some spooky season magic!
Michael, you should now be ready to have a perfect day at Magic Kingdom Park. If you have any other questions, just
consult me, your Ghost Host. I'm grim grinning glad to help!
Happy haunting!
