How much are the tickets with the military discounts and how many tickets can be purchase? Can the discount be use at the gate or online?

    Hi Ora!

Mine is a Military Family too, and I am so thankful for the way that Walt Disney World Resort shows their gratitude to U.S. Service Members through such generous military promotional pricing. While you can receive a five percent discount on any Base or Magic Your Way Ticket that Disney offers, definitely check out the multi-day Military Promotional Ticket.

Available in both a four or five day option that includes a Park Hopper, what's really neat about these tickets is that the unused days don't expire until the end of the year. I always buy the five-day option as we usually spend a few days in the parks in the spring and then return in the fall or winter for a few more Disney Days of fun. And for just $40 more per ticket you can also turn these tickets into the Park Hopper Plus option, which means that you'll get either four or five bonus admissions to either mini golf courses, ESPN Wide World of Sports or Disney's two amazing Water Parks. The price of the initial four-day ticket is $226 and the five-day is $246. Each Service Member, or their spouse, is allowed to purchase a total of six of these tickets per family per calendar year.

These tickets cannot be purchased online, and really there are only three locations that are authorized to sell them: 1) The ticket offices on U.S. Military bases/posts (pro tip: If your base doesn't have any in stock check with a nearby base); 2) at a Walt Disney World Resort Guest Relations window in-person once you get to Orlando; and 3) From Shades of Green, which is the military-exclusive resort hotel located near Magic Kingdom Park. Pro Tip: Buy these tickets on base or at Shades of Green as sales at both locations are sales tax free.

We'll See You Real Soon, Ora!
