Hello, Jesper,
I’m thankful for the service of you and your family. Thank you for the opportunity to try to help with your Disneyland Resort vacation plans.
Since its
reopening last year, the Disneyland Resort has required that Guests have both valid
theme park admission and
theme park reservations. As you have seen, this has turned out to be a particularly popular time to visit the Disneyland Resort. I understand that can be a frustrating situation when you are so close to your planned visit. There are a few things I recommend.
First, keep checking the
theme park availability calendar. Availability fluctuates constantly as Guest plans change. It’s worth refreshing that calendar frequently to catch available reservations when they appear. The moment you see a reservation pop up on the calendar, it’s time to jump into action!
Second, Guests of the three
Disneyland Resort Hotels have access to
theme park reservation inventory exclusive for hotel Guests. If you are staying on-site, make sure to link both your
hotel reservation and your
theme park tickets to your Disneyland Resort account. After everything is linked, a “Make a Park Reservation” link will be available from your
hotel reservation page to grant access to that pool of reservations.
I’m wishing on a star that your plans work out, Jesper. If for some reason, you aren’t able to find all of the reservations you’d like, I hope you are still able to enjoy your vacation. Besides the many
Southern California attractions, you’ll find many experiences available in the Downtown Disney District and throughout the Disneyland Resort Hotels. I recommend enjoying
Celebrate Soulfully. You’ll find
live entertainment and art exhibits during this month-long celebration of black history and culture. Here are a few
examples from Celebrate Soulfully that I enjoyed during a visit a few weeks ago.
Thanks for stopping by planDisney, Jesper. Please come again if you have any more questions.
