Hi Nick! Preparations are underway at the Walt Disney World Resort for the “haunting season!” Now, we just need Mickey and Minnie to let us know all the details! Traditionally, the six-month to Halloween mark has been a popular time for announcements about Halloween plans – especially
Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! It sure would be a “treat” if we could get some news later this month! I am encouraging Guests to keep an eye on the Disney Parks Blog and the Walt Disney World Resort website for breaking news about the Halloween season!
If history can be our guide, we should hear something soon! Tickets for Mickey’s Not-So-Scary Halloween Party went on sale last year on two dates. The first was on April 27, 2023 for Guests with existing reservations. The second date was May 1, 2023 for all other Guests.
Nick, are you sensing a disturbance in the Force? Nothing is posted on the Walt Disney World Resort website regarding a closure for
Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance. The Disney Parks include a listing of all planned closures and refurbishments on the Walt Disney World Resort website. When you arrive at the website enter a search for “Day Calendar” in the search bar. When you navigate to the
Day Calendar page, you will see each park listed individually. If anything is closed or planned on being closed, it will be listed under the “Closed for Refurbishment” section for Disney's Hollywood Studios. Currently, the only attraction included in the section is Rock ‘n’ Roller Coaster Starring Aerosmith. If Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance is going to be scheduled for refurbishment, it would be listed there. You might want to check back for updates as you continue your planning.
Happy Halloween and May the Force Be With You!
Dreams do come true!
