Welcome to planDisney, Nicole!
You are currently crafting the perfect plan for a
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party experience!
While the party gets started at 7:00 p.m., guests with special event tickets may enter
Magic Kingdom Park as early as 4:00. In addition, you can check in for
The Crystal Palace reservation--a family favorite, for sure--via the
My Disney Experience app once you are close to the restaurant.
When looking to enter a park at the start of any day or event, I like to be among the first in line. At times, Cast Members may start letting guests through just a few minutes early; if that is the case on the day of your reservation, you might get a bit of a head start on that easy walk to that fantastic restaurant.
Keep in mind, Nicole, there is so much to see on these party nights--and guests' costumes are among my favorites! You'll find so many talented trick-or-treaters, plus some Disney character experiences you won't see at any other time. To give you a chance to fully appreciate these plus the gorgeous Halloween colors draped all over Main Street, USA, you might be more comfortable with a 4:10 or 4:15 reservation if that is available.
Regardless, you are in for a gloriously ghoulish good time starting the moment you approach the park entrance. On my last party visit, I was amazed by the thorough, thoughtful, intricately detailed costumes put together by so many guests. People-watching quickly became the biggest--but best--distraction of the day!
