Hi Joshua!
Thanks for stopping by planDisney with a spook-tacular question about Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. I attended this event a few years back and it was a BOO-tiful night filled with tricks and treats to delight guests of all ages. I can tell that you're a planner (like me!) and want to look ahead to your trip so you don't miss a moment of the fun!
Dates and ticket sale information for the 2024
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party have not been released by Walt Disney World Resort just yet. While we don't have an exact date when more information will be available, I can say that in past years Disney Parks has enjoyed celebrating "Halfway to Halloween" in April and has typically released some details and ticket sale information for the party around that time. The best advice I have is to follow the
Disney Parks Blog and keep an eye on Walt Disney World Resort and Disney Parks official social media pages for the latest information as it's released. Tickets are very popular for this special event so you'll want to book early to get access for a party date during your visit.
As you are continuing to plan ahead for Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, let me take a moment and "treat" you to some "tricks" of my own so you can make the most of your evening.
- Historically, tickets to this event have allowed you to enter Magic Kingdom Park at 4:00 PM even though the party doesn't officially kick off until 7:00 PM. I like to make the most of my visit by taking advantage of this early entry. Typically, I make an early dining reservation for one of my favorite spots in the park, like Jungle Navigation Co. LTD Skipper Canteen or Liberty Tree Tavern so I can fuel up before the party starts!
- There are often multiple showings of Mickey's Boo-To-You Halloween Parade and the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular. If the rest of your party is up to it, I recommend going to later showings of these as crowds are sometimes a little lighter than earlier in the evening. I watched the Hocus Pocus Villain Spelltacular at midnight and it perfectly capped off my night in the park!
- Disney PhotoPass photographers will be plentiful throughout the party and there are some special photo opportunities during the evening, including Magic Shots. I recommend purchasing Memory Maker so you can have access to all of your pictures from that night. You can purchase Memory Maker at a discount when you buy for your entire trip at least three days before your arrival. Maybe you'll even have special guests, like certain grim grinning ghosts, materialize in your photos!
Joshua, I'm sending lots of pixie dust your way as you look ahead to your October trip and securing tickets to Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party! Please stop by to visit me or any of my pals here at planDisney for more Disney Parks vacation planning advice in the future!
See ya real soon,
Kristi
