Greetings Foolish Mortal, I mean Kerry!
Welcome to planDisney! I am your host, your
ghost host, for your question and I'm so happy to haunt you - I mean help you - today. Kerry, how exciting that you are planning to visit
Walt Disney World during
Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party. There are so many spooktacular things happening during this special event that it is sure to be a treat (with no tricks!)
Kerry, I just added my own ticket to my own
My Disney Experience app on my phone, so I can walk you through this process. You should have received an email confirmation when you booked the event that includes your confirmation number and bar code. Just print that out or if you don't have access to a printer, you can try this from your computer screen.
First, open the My Disney Experience app on your mobile device and then follow these steps:
- Click on the "hamburger" in the bottom right corner (the three horizontal lines.)
- Select the tile that says "Tickets and Passes."
- Click the + in the blue circle in the top right corner and select the button in the top right that says "Link Tickets & Passes."
- You can select the camera and scan the barcode on your printed-out ticket or your computer screen and this should add your Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party ticket to your "Tickets and Passes" on your My Disney Experience. Then, it should show up in your itinerary for that day. If you don't have a bar code, you can click on "Type ID" and type the confirmation number where it says "ID Number" and it should link it that way.
- If neither of these options work, bring a screenshot or printout of your ticket with you to the event and you should be able to enter the event with that printout or screenshot.
If you have any trouble with these steps, I recommend giving Guest Services a call or stopping by Guest Services on the day of your visit and they should be able to help you.
I hope this helps you. If you have any further questions, kindly step all the way in here at planDisney again, and we will be happy to help you. Remember, beware of hitchhiking ghosts!
Happy Haunting,
Keri
