We have tickets to Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party during our stay. We also have dining reservations at boatwrights at 6:40pm. Will we miss the parade or any of the wonderful shows if we come a bit late to the party?

Hi, Angela!     I just love Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party!   What a great way to celebrate the season!

With a 6:40 p.m. dining reservation at Port Orleans, I think you are going to miss a good chunk of time of the party!   Best case scenario is you will be out of your dinner at 8:00 p.m. and at the park by 8:30 - 8:45 p.m.    Personally, with the cost of the party ticket I want to utilize every minute I can!  If I were to plan the evening, I would do quick service dining that night at your resort before leaving for the Christmas Party.   Get to the Magic Kingdom to enjoy all the holiday magic that Mickey has waiting for you!

But back to your question - if you plan to stick with your dinner plans, fireworks are scheduled for 9:30 p.m. and the parade is at 8:15 p.m. and 10:30 p.m.

Whatever you decide, have a magical evening and a very Merry Christmas!

Meet the Panelist: Cathy, Ohio

Hi, I'm Cathy from Cleveland. I love to travel, especially in the winter to escape the snow and cold of Ohio! My husband and 2 kids share my enthusiasm for travel, so we enjoy our adventures together whether it is hiking at a National Park, sailing on a Disney Cruise Ship, or going to Walt Disney World which is our home away from home. My husband proposed to me in front of Cinderella Castle and we have not stopped visiting ever since! It's a blast helping guests here at planDisney!
