Hi, I have tickets to Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party with my 3-day base tickets. Do I need to go to the Magic Kingdom the day of the party or can I do another park and head to the Magic Kingdom for the party without using another ticket day?

Hello Alicia, and welcome to the Disney Parks Moms Panel with a great planning question.

I am thrilled to hear that you are going to enjoy Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party during your upcoming visit to the Walt Disney World Resort. The holiday season is my favorite time of year to visit because each and every Disney Resort Hotel and Disney Theme Park are dressed up in their holiday finest.

I am pleased to tell you that you are not required to visit the Magic Kingdom all day in order to attend the party. You can visit another park earlier in the day with your base ticket and then enjoy the party that evening. Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is one of my favorite special events held at the Magic Kingdom. The holiday treat stations are my favorites along with the Once Upon a Christmastime Parade. You also do not want to miss the Holiday Wishes fireworks show. It will definitely get you into the holiday spirit. You should also know that you can enter the Magic Kingdom with your party ticket as early as 4:00 p.m. Cast Members will direct you to a special line where they will scan your MagicBand and issue you a wristband to attend the party. If you have any more questions before you arrive, please come back and visit us again.

    See ya real soon,
