Season's Greetings, Jessie! Thanks for coming to planDisney with your very merry question today! With the excitement of the approaching
holiday season at the Walt Disney World Resort, I can't help but find myself humming my favorite holiday songs in anticipation of the seasonal celebrations that await!
Guests who are attending
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party will be able to enter Magic Kingdom Park at 4 PM on their party night with their
special event ticket. Unfortunately, this means to enjoy your 3 PM reservation at Be Our Guest, you would also require a standard theme park ticket for admission before the party entry. While this might not be the magical answer you were hoping for, you can always modify your existing reservation to a later time slot if one is available, or choose a different dining location outside of Magic Kingdom.
Last year, before attending Mickey's Not-So-Scary Halloween Party, we opted to dine at
Steakhouse 71 in Disney's Contemporary Resort for around 2 PM. This gave us a few hours before the party entry to enjoy an extended late lunch (and a few pre-party beverages) before walking over to Magic Kingdom for the event! Another really delicious option on the Disney Resort Monorail loop that you could consider as well is the
Grand Floridian Cafe (my daughter is obsessed with the Buttermilk-fried Chicken and Waffle!)
If your heart is set on dining inside of Magic Kingdom Park on a party night, be sure to keep an eye on the
table-service dining options that will be available during the party at Be Our Guest Restaurant, Cinderella's Royal Table, and The Plaza Restaurant; these reservations will be open for booking starting in September.
Jessie, once you're inside Magic Kingdom for the Christmas party, be sure to take in all of the festive extras! Keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog in the coming months to see what seasonal sweets and treats will be available exclusively at the party and check out the attraction overlays like the Jingle Cruise and Space Mountain set to holiday lights and tunes! And of course, be sure to plan ahead for a prime viewing spot for
Mickey's Once Upon a Christmas Parade and
Minnie's Wonderful Christmastime Fireworks Show, both exclusive party entertainment offerings!
I hope this is helpful, Jessie, and I am wishing you a most joyful visit and holiday season! If you have any other planning questions, come on back and
let us know!
Stay Merry and Magical,
Alison
