I have tickets for Mickey's Magical Christmas party starting at 7 pm. The only dining plan time left for any restaurants in Magical Kingdom is 7:30 pm. The parade isn't until 10:30 pm. Will I miss anything important if I make these dining reservations?

    Hi Jennifer!

Love Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party! If there's anything I can think of that can get me in that Christmastime spirit (anywhere), this party is it! :-)

The itinerary changes slightly each year, but when I remember attending the event last year, they did have some Character Meet-n-Greet's and some shows (such as the Celebrate the Season show) going on between 7:30-8:30pm. You may need to contact a Disney agent and ask if they have the official itinerary for this year. In addition, they do the Mickey's Once Upon a Christmastime Parade twice: the aforementioned 10:30pm and one earlier around 8:15pm. So if one desired, they could watch the earlier show if they wished to (or see the parade twice, because it is that good :-) But you were smart in securing an earlier dining reservation, as most of the restaurants are either closed during the event or close very early (i.e. one exception being the quick service Casey's Hot Dogs, which stays open pretty much close to the end). But knowing this year's itinerary can help to make sure you catch the events most important to you.

Hope this helps. Have a Mickey Merry Time!!
