I have tickets to Mickeys Christmas Party in hand, do I need to do anything special with them beforehand? Which hotels have gingerbread house displays? Is there an online map for the night of MVMCP? To print out? Thank you

    Hello and welcome to planDisney!

I am so excited to hear you will be attending Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party.  I will be attending later this month and I cannot wait!  I am especially excited to watch Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade again as that is one of my favorite parades.

In addition to having physical tickets in your possession, you may also want to check your My Disney Experience App to see if your party tickets are located there as well.  To check for the tickets, open your My Disney Experience App and press the "Tickets and Passes" tile.  Swipe left on the top part of your screen and you should see all the tickets that are assigned to you.  If you don't see your party tickets there, you have the option to link the tickets to your My Disney Experience Account by pressing the plus sign (+) in the upper right of your screen.  Then press "Link Tickets & Passes" and follow the prompts.

Once your tickets are linked, you do not have to bring your physical ticket to the park.  Instead, you can use the electronic version of the ticket located in your My Disney Experience App.  Whichever method works best for you is the option you should choose.

I haven't seen an online map for Mickey's Very Christmas Party but historically speaking, they are available when you enter Magic Kingdom Park for the party.  And don't forget, even though the party begins at 7:00 p.m., you may enter Magic Kingdom Park any time after 4:00 p.m.

I'm so happy you asked about gingerbread displays! I always build time in my schedule to visit the various resorts during the holidays.  The following resort hotels are on my must-visit list for gingerbread displays:

    • Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa
    • Disney's Contemporary Resort
    • Disney's Beach Club Resort
    • Disney's BoardWalk Inn
    • Disney's Animal Kingdom Lodge
If you decide to visit Disney's Beach Club Resort, please also stop by Disney's Yacht Club Resort.  They will also have a gingerbread display for the first time and I'm sure it will be spectacular!

    Have a magical vacation!
