Hi if I get tickets for Mickeys Backyard bbq and it is raining what happens I figure it is an outdoor event? also can you go and take your own car in if you are not staying at a Disney property? Thanks

    Hi Dianne,

Mickey's Backyard BBQ often runs if there is "light rain" as it is held under a covered, but open air pavilion. However, it can be canceled due to severe weather. In that event, you will be able to reschedule or receive a refund. On the evening that my family attended, there was light rain and the show still went on.

You are welcome to bring your own car. You will simply inform the gate attendant that you have reservations. Be sure to have your confirmation number handy. They will direct you where to park and how to get to the pavilion.

    Wishing you a wonderful vacation,
