Hi there, Arleni, and welcome to planDisney!
Nothing is better than celebrating Christmas with your loved ones at Walt Disney World Resort. While
Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is the cherry on top, with its fanciful Mickey’s Once Upon a Christmastime Parade and unlimited cookies, it’s a very popular event that sells out quickly.
After taking a quick peek at the Walt Disney World Resort website and the
My Disney Experience App, it seems that Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party is sold out for the rest of the season. I recommend that you keep checking the website until December 22 to see if anything pops up at the last minute due to other Guests’ cancellations. However, the last party is always the most difficult to grab because it’s the closest to Christmas Day.
Instead of partying at Magic Kingdom Park, you could always explore the other offerings around property. Disney Springs has a lovely
Christmas Tree Stroll presented by AdventHealth. You can discover the
Merry Menagerie at Disney’s Animal Kingdom Theme Park. And you should not miss the wonder of the
EPCOT International Festival of the Holidays, which includes the Candlelight Processional (celebrities narrate the story of Christmas) and a multitude of Holiday Kitchens.
AN EXTRA GEM: Tickets for Mickey’s Very Merry Christmas Party usually go on sale in the summertime. Next year, keep an eye on the
Disney Parks Blog to be among the first to know the event’s dates and ticket releases. By the way, if you’re around on December 18 or 20, there are still tickets available for
Disney Jollywood Nights at Disney’s Hollywood Studios. It’s another after-hours, magic-filled event that celebrates the holidays—but with a bit more glitz and glam. I loved meeting the rarely seen Disney characters and dancing the night away under the moonlight.
I know that this may not have been the answer you wanted, but I hope that you can get into the Christmas spirit by enjoying one of the other options I suggested. Walt Disney World Resort is truly The Most Magical Place on Earth, and it is even more evident during the holiday season. If you have any other questions about Disney vacation planning,

Magic always,
