Hi there, Rachel. Welcome to
planDisney!
Are you getting so excited about your upcoming trip to
Walt Disney World? It will be here before you know it. Hopefully, the countdown is on!
With your
Mickey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets, Rachel, the earliest you are allowed entry is at 4:00 p.m. The party itself doesn't actually start until 7:00 p.m. so it's a nice little added bonus to be able to enter Magic Kingdom Park early. If you have a lunch reservation at 2:00 p.m. at
Magic Kingdom Park, you would need a standard theme park ticket and a park pass reservation to enter for your lunch.
If you'd like to eat near Magic Kingdom Park, but not inside the theme park, there are plenty of places to do this, Rachel. You are welcome to dine at any of the
Walt Disney World Resort Hotels and there are several nearby. I'd consider dining at Disney's Contemporary Resort, Disney's Polynesian Village Resort or Disney's Grand Floridian Resort & Spa because they are all connected to Magic Kingdom Park via the monorail so it would be easy to get to afterward. They all have quick-service dining locations and I've eaten at all of them and they have some great food. Also, those resorts also have sit-down restaurants as well. I personally love
Steakhouse 71 and Disney's Contemporary Resort, they have a great lunch menu.
I hope this helps you plan out your itinerary a little bit better, Rachel. If you have any other questions, please feel free to stop back by and
ask me. I'm happy to help!
Enjoy!
Jackie H.
